Thursday: The Journey Begins – A Scenic Start Through the Borders

Meeting Point: Meeting at 8:30 AM. Begin with coffee & breakfast, and a meet-and-greet with fellow event attendees. During the tour briefing, we’ll cover the routes, rules, and planned stops, setting the stage for an epic adventure.

The Drive: Embark on a breathtaking route through the rolling hills and charming villages of the Scottish Borders. Feel the raw power of your supercar as you navigate flowing roads framed by picturesque countryside. Expect exhilarating straights interspersed with gentle curves, designed to showcase your car’s performance.

Lunch Stop: Indulge in a light lunch at a carefully selected venue, blending gourmet flavors with scenic surroundings.

Evening: Arrive at a boutique hotel where indulgence meets tranquility. Expect refined interiors, impeccable service, and an exceptional dining experience. Share stories from the road with your fellow travelers over a sumptuous dinner, as you anticipate the excitement of the days ahead.

Friday: Highland Majesty and Whisky Heritage

Morning Drive: Leave the lowlands behind and ascend into the heart of the Highlands. Today’s journey features the iconic Old Military Road, renowned for its tight hairpins, dramatic inclines, and sweeping descents. Marvel at the rugged beauty of the Highlands, where every turn reveals a new breathtaking view.

Lunch: A quick yet delicious light lunch en route to keep you fueled for the next leg of the adventure. 

Afternoon Highlight: Arrive at a historic hotel steeped in charm and surrounded by stunning landscapes. From here, you will have a few hours to yourself to explore the local scenery, maybe a trip to the coast?  We will also be looking to organise (an optional) trip to the world-renowned Macallan Distillery for an exclusive experience.  Here you can learn the art of whisky-making and savor Scotland’s liquid gold while surrounded by the beauty of Speyside.  This can only be booked 3 months in advance, and is expected to be around £50 per head, so we will review this closer to the time.

Evening: Return to the hotel for another unforgettable dinner. The ambiance, combined with exquisite cuisine, makes for a perfect end to the day.

Saturday: A Day of Iconic Drives and Glencoe Grandeur

Morning Drive: Set off early for one of the most iconic drives in the world. Starting in Inverness, the route takes you through the serene beauty of the Great Glen and onwards to the legendary Glencoe valley. This road is the epitome of driving nirvana, with its mix of long straights, sweeping curves, and dramatic mountain backdrops.

Highlights Along the Way:

• Skyfall Waterfall: A must-visit spot immortalized in the James Bond film.
• Lochs and Peaks: Pause to take in the mirror-like reflections of lochs framed by towering peaks.

Lunch Stop: Enjoy a carefully curated lunch in a stunning setting, energizing you for the final stretch of the day.

Evening: Arrive at a luxurious estate hotel where modern sophistication meets timeless elegance. Relax in style, whether at the spa or the bar, before sitting down to a gourmet dinner with your fellow adventurers. Reflect on the day’s highlights and soak in the camaraderie.

Sunday: The Final Stretch – Through the Borders to Farewell

Morning Drive: Begin the final day with a scenic journey through the rolling landscapes of the Scottish Borders. Experience the thrill of open roads combined with captivating views, making this last leg of the trip as memorable as the first.

Lunch Stop: A relaxed lunch ensures you’re refreshed and ready for the final drive.

Final Destination: Conclude your journey at Rheged Services in Penrith. Fuel up, grab a coffee, and take a moment to celebrate the unforgettable experiences shared over the last four days.

• Curated Routes and Stops: Planned routes, suggested photo opps, fuel, refreshment, and lunch stops make the trip seamless and stress-free.
• Your Choice: Drive at your own pace and meet at the scheduled points for lunch and dinner, or drive along with the core group.
• Complementary PCE Jacket: A high quality shell style padded jacket for each driver, normally sold for £75 - a passenger upgrade is also available.
• Complementary Full Membership: Normally, £99 for the year - pay your deposit before the end of January, and we will automatically upgrade you to a full membership and you can enjoy the rest of our day events in 2025 for just the booking fee! 

Pricing

• Couples: The price for a couple is £1,350 ( there are some slightly cheaper double rooms available in two of the hotels, which would reduce the price to £1,250 - please pay deposit and contact us if you would like one - this message will be removed once all gone.)
• Single: The price for a single driver is £1,100
• Flexible Payment Options: We are aware that some members may be able to get discounted loyalty rates at some hotels.  You will either need to book all hotels yourself or leave PCE to book all hotels.  If you are not be able to secure rooms, you will not be eligible to receive your deposit back, so it advised you do this early to avoid disappointment.  Once you have paid the deposit, you may request full hotel details should you require.  Please be advised, we have booked the best rooms available as we like to think our members prefer the nicer end of the scale.  Should you wish to do this, the deposit will be your only payment to Performance Car Exclusive.  Your inclusive meal allowance will also be excluded as some of the rooms include a dinner allowance.
• Twin Rooms: Not all hotels have twin room availability, but if you want to bring a friend and share a room, then we can look at costing this up specifically for you.
• Optional Wednesday Night Hotel: We have reserved a number of rooms near Hexham on the Wednesday night and will meet here for breakfast at 8:30am for our tour briefing.

Pay Your Deposit Now.  Balance will be due by the end of June by bank transfer.  Card Payments can be made available but will be subject to a fee to cover processing costs.

Pricing is Subject to Change - Please Note, pricing is subject to having a minimum of 6 confirmed cars.  We reserve the right to cancel or increase the pricing if we do not reach this number.  Your deposit is non-refundable should you cancel, as this covers the cost of your PCE jacket and membership for the year.  If we need to increase costs slightly, then you may choose to cancel.  In this case, your full deposit would be returned if you have not attended any other events. Your returned deposit would be reduced by £99 if you have attended an event.
