We begin our North Yorkshire Moors Driving Event just outside Knaresborough, with a relaxed arrival window from 9:00 AM and engines starting at 9:30 AM. The morning route guides us away from the urban edges and into the rolling patchwork of Yorkshire’s iconic countryside. Expect perfectly cambered lanes, sweeping corners, and gentle climbs as we pass through historic villages and into ever more remote and open scenery.

As we make our way north, the roads begin to open up—each one a driver’s dream. As our North Yorkshire Moors Driving Event continues into the afternoon, we take a different path—trading the sweeping hills for the raw drama of the coast. Our drive takes us through forested twists, clifftop bends, and some of the finest roads the East Coast has to offer.

We’ll pass through lesser-known gems of the Yorkshire landscape, climbing and descending with rhythm, before arcing back inland for one last stretch of fast-flowing rural roads. The final leg guides us south toward York, winding down with a few final scenic bursts as the sun begins to dip and the day comes to a satisfying close.
