Prepare for a day filled with breathtaking landscapes, picturesque villages, and the undeniable charm of Lancashire! Embarking on the Lancashire Loop, we'll dive deep into the county's stunning landscapes, from the verdant Forest of Bowland to the tranquil Glasson Dock. Meeting at a familiar locale in Preston, we've mapped out a day that marries the thrill of the drive with the beauty of nature.

Breakfast Meet: McDonald's, Walton Le Dale, Preston (9:30 AM)

Start your day with a friendly meet and greet at McDonald's in Walton Le Dale, Preston. As we gather, enjoy a coffee and maybe even a breakfast treat. After our driver's briefing, we'll rev up our engines, ready to embark on our Lancashire adventure by 10 AM.

East Lancashire Exploration (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM)

As we set off, we'll head across to the mesmerizing landscapes of East Lancashire. Embrace the thrill of navigating through scenic roads, flanked by lush countryside and quintessential English villages. Feel the excitement build as we approach the serene Forest of Bowland, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Lunch near Ingleton (12:30 PM - 2:00 PM)

Nestled amidst the captivating backdrop of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, we'll pause for a hearty lunch near Ingleton at The Marton Arms. It's the perfect mid-day break, offering both scrumptious food and great company.  You will need to be a pre-order - the options will be collected 3-4 days before our event, costing £26.95 per person.  This will consist of a main and dessert (vegetarian options available).  If you don't want a dessert, then you can choose to have a drink and/or ice cream at our Glasson Dock stop.  Otherwise, drinks will be paid for on the day.

The Trough of Bowland & Coffee at Glasson Dock (2:00 PM - 4:00 PM)

Post-lunch, prepare to be amazed by the Trough of Bowland, as we cruise down its left side. This glaciated valley offers a driving experience that is both exhilarating and scenic. Midway, we'll stop at Glasson Dock, a picturesque marina and a lovely spot to stretch your legs. Indulge in a coffee or treat yourself to some ice cream – the perfect pick-me-up for our afternoon drive!  But we do need to be quick to this place - it usually closes at 4pm.

Finale at Costa, North of Preston (5:00 PM)

As our memorable day comes to an end, we'll loop back towards Preston, finishing our journey at Costa. It's a cozy spot to reminisce about the day's adventure, exchange stories, and maybe even plan the next driving event.
